Thank you for your correction Mitch.

Actually both terms are correct however. One by financial definition the other by english language definition. I chose the latter as I often comment off the top of my head without researching my answers.

Liquify = to make liquid.

What a crock of **** the divorce system is. He should've just had the ***** killed. No ****ing way I'd let an ex take half the **** I worked for.

Then again, he's a ****ing idiot for taking that skanky whore and knocking her up.

Don't pre nups only protect the assets you have acquired before marriage?

ie: Whatever I make during the marriage is fair game.

He just should have sold all of his assets to his buddies for 1 dollar an item. I know many lawyers that do this so they "don't have anything" when it comes time to split stuff up in a divorce.

Don't they have laws that prevent that sort of thing nowadays?

A prenup does not protect assets earned during the marriage, only assets you have before the marriage. Also most prenups are not enforceable after 7 years of marriage anyway. I am going through a divorce right now and giving up 1/2 of my assets too. It's a lot and quite painful to part with. I sold the business this year too, so I don't have to have any ties at all to the ex. Yep it sucks to give up 1/2 of everything you earned.

A lot of people still do it, but that doesn't really mean a whole lot.

there needs to be a cap on divorce payouts
100 mil is what i suggest
it's far more than enough to provide for anything a human being should consume, even with 10+ kids
