SB accounts hacked

ok, evidently some accounts have been hacked. If you get the message "someone else was just using your body" or something along that lines, when you log into shadowbane then that means someone tried to log into your account and failed. I, like many others in ST, sent my username, but not my password, to the leadership. Supposedly the username is to be used in finding LoD spies, but I don't know how yet and I intend to find out. I just sent a message to Hands (leader of my subguild of ST) and it follows:

Ok, I want to know EXACTLY how our ubi account names are used to verify we are not LoD. Someone tried to login to my account and failed. The only one who knows my account name is you and the ST leadership and I am not happy about it right now. I am not the only one who has been hit, a LOT of other people I have talked to in ST have had the same issue. I'm not accusing you or the ST leadership directly yet, but the evidence is pointing in your direction. I look forward to your response.

positive. And I'm not the only one, have talked to quite a few peeps in game with the same issue.

ive had the "someone was just using this body" error many times. before and after i gave my account name out.

I thought I was hacked one night when I stayed up late and forgot I had spent some points and when i woke up in the morning I was like: wtf.

Ok, went online and talked to Hands during lunch. He hasn't given out the account name to anyone. Basically what they are doing is looking for the usernames of known LOD from beta. There's no way to determine someone's username now evidently.

I have nothing really worth stealing (only have 237k in the bank). heh, I played EQ before this (where items/plat can be worth a LOT of money) so I may be a little over paranoid, but I figure better safe than sorry.
