AYB was the 2002 webby awards People's Voice winner for "Weird" websites.
Didn't get the webby, but that might be because I didn't reply to any of the emails from them.
I still have no idea what that means, but it must be something, cause lots of people are emailing about it.

otherwise, I get a few emails every day of new AYB stuff showing up on the web. Most of them aren't that interesting.
Actually, a girl in my office just emailed the AYB video to a guy I work with today. Her flash teacher showed it to her class, and she thought it was amusing.
I don't give a crap what the haters say, I think it's completly mind-blowing just how huge this thing is. It's literally been everywhere, and thousands and thousands of people are still seeing it for the first time every single day, and getting enjoyment from it. I think it's pretty cool that something so insignificant and stupid can travel so damn far, just because it's in a format that's easy to transport on the web.
