Have you heard of the Bechdel Cast? Its a podcast about the representation of women in film.
TW is the Breitbart Blog, a blog about the lack of representation of white men in American culture.

tbh it's not like anyone gave a **** about john connor, he is the worst part of t2, the worst & most forgettable part of t3 (played by some guy from nsync prob), and no one even saw salvation because they said it's just john connor now and he is gay with the other guy, NOT a terminator movie if you ask me
i think terminator is up there with predator for most unsequelable franchises, t2 closes down all future avenues really hard and t3 in addition to being fanfic and bad shuts down even more, who is watching these at this point. chinks and babies
jurassic worlds is the one that annoys me because it is dinosaurs in the present day you can do so many things with that other than it's a theme park but now instead of jeeps hamster balls

It's bizarre that they needed 9 writers to come up with the same ingredients as the last dozen terminator films:
1) The Terminator needs to be more deadly than the last film's Terminator
2) The target has to be super important to the future
3) There needs to be a badass protector
4) A deus ex machina method of destroying the Terminator
5) Arnold
6) Someone saying "I'll be back."
7) Some scary future computer thingy trying to win a war against humans
They have a glaring escalation problem, and a formulaic problem. As the Terminators get more advanced, the protectors must become more badass to compensate. The action and CGI gets more over the top absurd. It completely overshadows the central point of the film: Who is this person and what is it about them that makes them so important that they need to be killed?
They've completely forgotten what made the concept of a Terminator scary. A relentless, ruthless assassin who will endlessly pursue someone who has done absolutely nothing worthy of being killed for, who is hopelessly outmatched, and who nobody will believe. All you have to do to make a successful Terminator film is to humanize the target, make them a menial nobody, and have every action sequence driven by desperation. You could do it for $50M using all practical effects.

The first movies were made for American men. These movies are made for feminists, jews, and the Chinese.

i think grandma action heroes play well with the chinks
i dont get why they keep trying to hamfist these stories together into a universe. Just make the movie take place in a post apocalyptic future where we discover that skynet wasn't the real threat to humanity, human made climate change was, and arnold has to be sent back to help Al Gore win and therefore avert certain destruction.
It's not hard to write an awesome story like that.

Yea it's not even the woke **** that's making them fail. Terminator needs to be more of a thriller/horror instead of an action film. Same reason why shark movies haven't worked since Jaws.

probably better than the new joker movie. Like we needed an entire film explaining some guy just went bonkers? Everyone knows he fell into an artificial lazerus pit making him even more insane and less prone to aging

I did not know that, nor do I know what a lazerus pit is.

Some of it painfully blamed on get woke, go broke.
However, if you can ignore it, you are still left with a terrible screenplay . The story is just a broken, disjointed mess. It is just bad writing that one would expect from something created by a committee.
There are 12-15 people credited/uncredited on this film for writing and adapting the screenplay. And everyone got to pitch ideas that end up in the film
It is riddled with plot holes, bad dialogue, bizarre characters and a paint by numbers plot.

i think it's more like when you have nine people in the production powerful enough to demand story credit 1) you need the most generic possible frame to hang their dumb ideas on and 2) you have a severely dysfunctional production based on Failed socialist ideals or alternatively james cameron being like 65 and saying i don't care do whatever you want sure i just want to work on 9 avatar sequels that i'll never make because i'll be dead and no one knows what that is anymore
i don't think going the predators route does anything but stall so that all the boomers that care about this crap can start dying off
maybe one of the good modern scifi auteurs like denis villeneuve or alex garland could save it but when they can win awards on their own why pick a chair where some 25-yo dude w/ rufies in his pocket leans over your shoulder saying "hey rian are you picturing this shot with cute little cgi dingo foxes running around the cave?"
