The Air Force didn't change the F9's certification status after the flight, which again points towards it not being a rocket issue.

no real way for me to argue with you since they will not really disclose much more than this........
i love how our government can pretty much blow a billion dollars and still don't feel like a larger explanation is needed or warranted to the taxpayers.
This goes well with the theme that we actually work for our government and our government no longer works for us........

i mean if the F-35 ends up being a turd (which it is) it doesn't matter....because they already invested so much into it they have to make it work. Their procurement eggs and contracts are already in that basket. They have no other viable choices.
Sure there is still the F-22, there are other jets, there is even the X-32 from Boeing........but that isn't the choice or the direction that was chosen.
These aeronautical contractors know this and pretty much create delays, overhead costs, overruns, based off of how much they can get away with before they break contracts and/or re-evaluation is made to what they are offering
It sure looks like we have a competitive bid process.......but in the end we always know who is going to end up getting what long before the proposal is often even made.
AND Largely all by design at this point......
