Hey bud, you can try www.yousendit.com for up to 1 gig files. You upload to their servers and they email a DL link to the person that you want to get the file. Then that person DL's it form them. I have used it many times.

link added to first post. here it is for lazy bitches.

DOWNLOAD PART 2 HERE

Save the file. Run it. Here's where I made a slight booboo. It default unzips to "C:\Program Files\VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\Content\" but this creates a content folder in the content folder. So, just delete the "Content\" at the end of the unzip field, and adjust your drive letter as necessary. In addition, if you get an error saying it wont let you create an output file, you will have to go into your tv maps and havok data folders and make all files non-read-only.

This part contains the maps from Fort to Winterlake. The rest are uploading now. This exe is ~115 MB.

My TV is nowhere near there. :(

uhm... where the HELL did you place your installation files then!?? that's where they install to unless you changed your options around when you installed the game.

C:\TV ... easier to navigate to.

What people do normally to create zips (like your mappack) is create c:\content and put all the files in folders off of that. (You will end up with C:\content\Havokdata\(files) etc. then you make a zip of c:\content. Your files in the zip should appear as "content\Havokdata\filename" etc. This way, anyone can install regardless of where they installed TV. (When you unzip you unzip to your TV folder - which in my case would be C:\TV).

You have put in so much time as it is, dont redo it now. Maybe someone can do that later. When I do get it, I'll just end up with a content folder off in the weeds somewhere that I will have to move/copy. It will be ok for now.

Oh, you should consider using yousendit next time when you are having issues with transfer sizes. The DL from there is via http. If the host is using Linux they can use wget if I recall. You might try it for the heck of it. (It's free).

If that hrm is about yousendit, that is a free service that allows you to transfer up to 1 gig to someone. You upload to their server and they send a DL link to an email addy (of the person receiving). It is an http upload/dl. www.yousendit.com

If that hrm is about my zip content structure, you would end up with something like

c:\Content\HavokData\(havokdata files)
c:\Content\Maps\(mapfiles)
c:\Content\Sounds\(sound files)
c:\Content\Music\(music files)

etc.

Then if you zip c:\Content, the above should appear in the zip as

Content\HavokData\(havokdata files)
Content\Maps\(mapfiles)
Content\Sounds\(sound files)
Content\Music\(music files)

Which can be unzipped into your TV directory wherever it is.
