Not that you***8217;re wrong but it was a new CEO coming in for HBO that really killed it. Of course they always want to come in and make things their own. He started a bunch of really ****ty shows right after they cancelled Deadwood, Carnival, and Rome.
At least with Rome they knew it was the last season so they put 3 other seasons of content into 1 season which is why it felt so rushed. Not sure about deadwood, but they did have the story for the next season of Carnival planned. The creator did an interview that***8217;s online which he explains you what they planned to happen.
