Limit drinking to one time a week. Switch to craft beers.

I***8217;m the same, once I start, don***8217;t stop until buzzed.

I was drinking Fri and Sun, but I***8217;m switching to Saturday and that***8217;s it. Cut out happy hour on Friday.

OP story very similar to mine except I'm 20 years older. Especially the alcohol part. I too have my reasons for drinking, boredom, stress, helps with the ****posting. Came to a head back in Feb had stent put in an artery that was 80% blocked, now on meds for BP, cholesterol and blood thinners. Well on the way back to healthy, cut right back on alcohol, eating healthy, gym or run 6 times a week. Cholesterol now well below average, BP is 120/75, resting pulse 50. Aim to bin all the meds and drop another 20lbs by the anniversary of my stent implant in Feb. OP you can fix this easily if you put your mind to it, you have 20 years headstart on me. Good Luck.

The sad thing is, so many americans are fat, people have lost focus on what a healthy weight looks like. Take a look at a height / weight chart and see how close you truly are to a healthy weight. I bet many of you would be surprised to learn you are obese.

6' 2" 199# I'm in size 34 pants. In my weight loss journey I went through 16 belt notches. BP and cholesterol are perfect. And I just ate a whole bag of Cheetos.

I am feeling the MAGA bois

Reach down and grab your stomach, I bet you can get a handful. Just because everybody else has a gut doesn't make it healthy.

BMI applied to individuals is idiotic

but it's fun to be obese at <12% body fat

How about you guys drop all the charts and just look in the mirror and see if you're happy with how you look. If you really, honestly like how your body looks, then good for you, otherwise you can just spend all day trying to prove something like someone gives a ****. You're lying to yourself the most.

Bull**** chart is bull****. You can be on the left side of that chart and be unhealthy and skinny fat, or in the middle section if you have a reasonable amount of muscle and be supremely fit with fairly low body fat. I'd have to get to about 6% body fat to weigh 158.

If kinda serious, please explain. I'm running my heart rate up to 90% of theoretical max in the gym, so around 155. Resting is normally 50-55, occasionally 48. My cardiologist sees no issues with this 8 months after stent op.
