I've been watching that awesome "All your base" film over and over again for the last few days because

A) it is awesome

and

B) I am now one of the many

Sooooo....amidst a night of boring Russian homework, I was suddenly hit with an idea.

I admit I discovered AYBABTU just last week, but I'm now hooked... I read all of the SA forums about it (the ones that are left, that is) and slogged through 62 pages on this thread. A few people on SA rightly point out that this whole tussle over ownership between TribalWar and SA is fairly pointless, but here's something I noticed after looking through their archives:

While the first picture went up on SA, Bad_CRC and everybody here on TribalWar refined it. I don't think it would have become so (overly) popular if it had stayed on SA. Their archived photos are all lame, on the order of some normal photo with a thought bubble saying, "All your base are belong to us." I laughed at those twice; 24 pages of them in a row, with the same joke--that's a bit much.

The posts on TribalWars, on the other hand, tend to be "spot the reference" kind of photos, which for whatever reason, are much funnier...

So yeah, props to SA for being first. Cheers to people here for making it so freakin' funny everybody and his mother's sister's father's former roommate had to come look at it.

Don't worry, now that I found out about it, it'll die off.
