I did that but when I restart tribes it just gose back to the other so if you have any ideas about that let me know plz.

is your play.gui set to read-only? if so, change.
 
can iff's normally be seen through weapons...i can't remember. it could just be a dud below him and the weapon is covering him.

or it could be HAX.

DONE as in the GUI part... I need a script (for VP) that shows the pic of what pack you currently have on, and it will go into that little circle on the bottom left.

try this. Just reposition the icons/text to where they gotta go.
