What ever happened to the idea of letting the player decide what kind of character they wanted to play the game as?

You know... like choose your armor class, put on a backpack special power and select your choice of weapons for the role and gameplay you want to have in the game.

You could even choose which gender your character was.


Remember that game?

I miss that game.

i never understood why a video game character needs to have a sexual orientation. like if i see a dude fucking a chick they are straight if i see a dude fucking a dude they are gay. Like i dont need to know when im blasting ppl in the face with guns.
 
Characters are just vehicles for mechanics

I really don't care what said mechanics look like or what mass-appeal-sjw-focus group they decide would work best for marketing purposes

well the prices for things are pretty insane.....i'm surprised people will pay for weapon skins

i can understand 'legend' skins - although i don't find most of them that great - compared to overwatch for example.

i think we will see how dumb the pay model is once they start releasing lots of legends.

man the price on like every single part for my new PC I've been looking at just keeps dropping

rtx 2070 at $445 on newegg
ryzen 5 2600x @ $179 at micro center or regular 2600 for $150 on amazon... not sure which is a better deal
gotta pick out a good mobo (b450?)
and some pretty RGB ram

also this m.2 SSD thing is crazy, never even heard of them. gotta find a dece pci-e one.
