im pretty sure i fried a celeron 300A by putting it in a slot adapter and trying to boot it in one of those GX1's
 
Nice. I remember trying to find a 300 celeron at some computer expo, and settling for a cyrix processor.
 
Remember Folding? That's when everyone would leave their PC on to solve a problem.

They have recycling centers that take truck loads of Dells from offices, take them apart for the copper.

It kinda sucks when things become obsolete, because they still work, but can't do anything. Cell phones are a good example of this.
