I think the U.S execs would probably fail to understand that its the relationship of the three presenters and their personalities that make the show funny and entertaining.

They'd probably stick quasi 'beautiful' people on it to talk about Jagwaaaaaars.

i prefer the us office to the uk office though.

Good episode, the Alfa challenge was definitely fun... but it wasn't quite as good as their producer seemed to make it sound in his blog last week

I thought the 1k Alfa challenge was hilarious. I was laughing my ass off most of the time.

@ blocking the entire track off with their Alfa beaters and Clarkson picking up random floozies at the side of the road.

That looked totally staged. No footage of the actual roll, just a funny bit with James and Hamster and then cut to the rolled car, with Clarkson out of it.

The show was better when it was more balanced between the three of them - now it seems like it's Clarkson doing everything, all the time.

Anyone have the unedited versions of these episodes? They always edit out the things that jeremy finds on the internet that make everyone crack up.

I'm curious where you think such a thing would be found?

Top Gear is filmed on wednesdays, and airs on sundays. Between that time, they do all of the editing of the live bits, including bleeping swear words and cutting to wide shots when Jeremy does his internet picture thing.

Considering they don't even show those images on the Uncut News clips off Topgear.com, I kind of doubt they'd be available for anyone to check out

It's just a bit that plays to their live audience. I don't think they even film the porn he's showing off.

Gotta give them an extra special something to make them feel extra special for being the only people to see a man with his penis in a range rover's exhaust pipe.
