We ended up at the range for about 3 hours, and cleaned up in the dark. It was raining when we got there and quit shortly after. We were the only ones there for most of the time, besides a father and son that were cleaning up when we got there, and some old dude that sat in his truck for a half hour after we arrived, fired off 3 rounds then sat in his truck for another half hour then left.
The big TV was a blast to shoot. The father and son stayed to watch me kill it dead. 00 buck would knock it down.
We set it up half way down the range. You can see the diet mt dew set up on the berm.
The .243 winchester was dead accurate for me, but no one else could hit anything with it.
Pop bottles full of water or empty will definitely be a part of the next trip.
The last outing I picked up a Reversa target and stand. It's thick cardboard with a silhouette target on one side, and 5 bulls eyes on the other side. clay plates will fit nicely into slots you can fold out. The cardboard is cheap, and 2 metal legs hold it up. We found 20 some unbroken plates in the field nearby.
