I read somewhere that any RT rating of 3/5 or over counts as 100%

i don't think the formula is as repeatable as you're saying
predator works because it's not what you're expecting to happen to a gang of badass commandos, and because it is such a distinctive cast of essentially interchangeable but infinitely hammy personas. it is jason vs. rambo.
even if you manage to get together another such cast (and predators obviously tried very hard; much too hard in fact), the mystery can never be recaptured, so you just go through the same beats of hey it collects trophies, hey it's invisible, hey it can bleed, always wishing you were watching arnold do the same things
honestly the only reasonable paths to take are different time periods or alien planets, both of which are too outre for a mainstream movie franchise whose fanbase is 20 years past expiration (not to mention much more expensive and trickier to navigate tonally). they're the kind of ideas that work in comic books and spinoff novels because by the time you're reading those you've already bought in completely.

The moment the words "Let's reboot Predator as a comedy" were uttered, that should have been the end of it right there. That guy should have been fired.

So it works on a thumbs up / thumbs down approach? 100% of critics gave it thumbs up?

Predators was on the right track, but made a few questionable plot decisions that ultimately caused it to be corny. The main hero was far too effective, Topher's character and the finale was ****ing dumb as ****, Fishburne's character was wasted, and the two types of Predator wasn't necessary.
It would've been a much better movie if they had set it up as a game preserve world that they stocked with creatures that had successfully killed a Predator. It's considered a great honor to hunt there, or only the most successful, notable hunters get to go. Each of the cast had killed a Predator at some point (good opportunity for Arnold cameo), in a different environment, in a different manner. They run into Fishburne, who has been there forever just like before, and over the course of the movie he slowly picks off people as was his way. Far more entertaining concept.
Ultimately you don't need more than the hunter vs hunted scenario. Pick an environment, come up with some new predator gadgetry that gives them a disgusting advantage, pick people off. They keep trying to reinvent the wheel.

The current plan on 4Chan right now is to rate it at 100% and make it the highest rated movie ever. That way normies will know it's too much bull**** and everyone gets a red pill.

Have you guys considered the possibility it's getting good reviews because it's actually good?

Of course. It's a marvel superhero film, it was going to get good ratings regardless.

no one's going to give this an honest review even if it's a **** film
critics would rather just hit thumbs up and move on with their lives than face the onslaught of sjw scum

I am going to see the movie and I will probably enjoy it a lot. All the sjw bs won't ruin it for me however I wish they had just let the film stand on its own.
