problem solved. i'm an idiot. there's a slider bar for zoon on text,apps,etc that was set incorrectly through windows. created some much unnecessary headaches!
yeah running anything but 100% text size will fuck with shit
you can still run higher text sizes, just right click on the tribes .exe, goto compatibility tab and check off 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'
