Starscape is part of a totally new and never done before type of mission, we call it MapMod. MapMod is a self contained MOD within in a single mission. The idea behind MapMod is to have totally different games each time the mission changes. Each MapMod will be different from the others. Starscape is a flight sim set in space and has several new models including Vehicles, Mines, asteroids and bases..
Look for other MapMod missions with all new adventures soon.

This map unleashes the full power of the Map Support Package v2.0 by Founder, myself and TseTse. It was designed for use with base or base variants. I make no guarantee that it will run on any mod other then base variants such as Classic mod. Spacecraft come equipped with locking missile launchers and quad blaster cannons. You can use your "Beacon" key while looking at a spacecraft to auto mount the craft. You must be within 20 meters of the craft to be able to auto mount mount it.

Pilot controls:
1) Your "Pack" key will initiate the space crafts boosters. 2) Your "Mine" key will deploy anti-spacecraft mines. 3) Your "Grenade" key will release anti-missile flares.

If EEPROM did the bases, its gotta be good.

Is this for T1 or T2? You didn't exactly specify...

Ok this is something i like to see being done with T2, i like sims and the like.

Tips< instead of using black ground textures, use black grountextures with small little twinkling stars on it, this might take a little bit more work but it should have been thought of before this thing was released.

The map its self needs to be bigger, like i mean massive, i don't know if you can get any bigger can you, pffff hell if i know

But this is some hardcore stuff man i smell a whole new genre of map type and GAME type for that matter.

Actually the ground texture does have white star looking spots on it. The bases are 10,000 above the ground texture but if you float down to then you will see what I am talking about. The bases are several thousand meters apart and should be good enough distance for a 10v10 or so IMO. I appreciate the feedback and kind comments. We have begun to discuss and work on the next MapMod, Ill let ya know when it is complete.

Also if you turn on precip ion your graphics settings you will get what looks like floating stars.. :P
