[Official] Game of Thrones Season 2

so i was wondering, is this series good enough to buy on bluray for 49 bucks? i have never seen any episodes. read the first book.
 
If you subscribe to HBO (10-20$/month depending on your provider) then you can watch every episode on HBO Go.
 
yeah but hbo sucks, and i already pay like 140 bucks a month as it is without any "premium" channels. maybe i'll just rent it somewhere.

My roommate has been reading my books, he finished game of thrones last night. So i get home from class today and his dumbass has read the first 3 or so chapters of A Storm of Swords, instead of A Clash of Kings. (book 2 spoiler)

So he essentially spoiled the shit out of a lot of the stuff that goes on at the end of Book 2 by reading the beginning of three.

And you're right, that is ASoS. For some reason I thought it was earlier. It's been a while since I read the first three.
