Disney half-marathon got nailed with sleet and a bit of snow on Saturday. Wasn't much better the next morning; wind chill was 15 at race start time. And my boss had to run said race.
Wind chill actually struck 19 around 3am Sunday here; I'm only about 90 minutes north of Miami.
I mean, it wasn't brutal since I'm used to the cold of Minnesota, Wisconsin and northern Illinois. But this is Florida for ****'s sake. It's a trip when there's frost on the ground supporting a bunch of palm trees.
when I worked in Florida we had a 30 degree day and all the thin-blooded natives looked like they were going to die. Uncontrollable shivering even with heavy winter gear on.

probably were not natives but transplant jews and other gross people from new york/new jersey who forget it gets cold here....and of course those people are cold blooded so it might kill them.
It was amazing being in bootcamp in chicago during the winter and all the *****ing from ******s from jersey/new york every single day. Everyone else just dealt with it.
