Did your doctor ask about your diet in any detail before prescribing meds?

I bet you're deficient in potassium. But he wouldn't make money telling you that. Symptoms are spot on.

Above normal? With those symptoms? Not bloody likely. He wouldn't be fatigued or dizzy or have high BP.

The doctors won't ask about the diet, they're not trained for it.

Rusty, you're the same as I was years ago until I changed. The diet is causing all the problems, even if you think it's healthy. I used to be on blood pressure and cholesterol meds until I lost 40 pounds. I'll have to post all the links to the trailers on YouTube about juicing and healthy eating.

The new buzzword in healthy eating is called ***8220;Raw.***8221; It means limiting processed foods, and cutting back on meat. There are a few movies to watch that explain it.
***8220;Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead***8221; (Joe Cross) documents weight loss by drinking ***8220;Mean Green Juice.***8221;
Join The Reboot is the web site for this movie with more info.
Juicing for Weight Loss | Reboot With Joe | Fat Sick Nearly Dead
***8220;Forks Over Knives***8221; documents how heart disease can be reversed through diet.
If you search YouTube for those titles, you can watch the trailers.
Fat, Sick Nearly Dead Extended Trailer - YouTube
Forks Over Knives - Official Trailer - YouTube
How to make the green juice from the movie can be seen here.
HOW TO MAKE MEAN GREEN JUICE - w/ a BLENDER !!! â***339;***8230; - YouTube
A web site with juices to make can be found here.
Mean Green Juice Recipes - My Juice Cleanse
The woman in the video is using a big blender with a paint strainer bag. If you have the money, buy an Omega VSJ843QS (best juicer at this time) and watch this video.
How to Juice Mostly Greens in the Omega VRT 350 Juicer - YouTube
He***8217;s juicing in an Omega VRT350. The difference between the VRT350 and the VSJ843 is the VSJ843 is the newest model and has more juice output with less pulp. Subscribe to his channel.

Hungry For Change trailer on Vimeo (first 20 minutes) Great movie that explains how humans are addicted to Fat, Salt, and Sugar (processed foods made to look, smell, and taste good).

Yes she did ask, this doctor was extremely thorough and ran a lot of small tests to make sure there were no neurological issues either that caused or were related to what i was experiencing.

Truthfully, and I didn't mention it initially because I know it would open a whole can of worms to the TW trolls but I have been drinking way too much and often, bringing my self back up with coffee and sugar in it, going running if i felt too bad and working a lot, basically just running myself ragged and abusing myself from every direction...

I've been drinking like an alcoholic for the past few years, i'm not ashamed to say it, i don't see it as a weakness, everyone who drinks has their reasons and whether someone sees them as valid or not we all have our own life experiences and we get to the point eventually (hopefully) where we can admit to ourselves it's a problem. I never drink because i feel like i ABSOLUTELY NEED to drink...i drink mostly because i get bored or i want something to spice up the evening but then i don't stop.

I know the alcohol is a huge contributing factor to my current state of health and I think this is a good opportunity to make the right decision.

I need a major lifestyle/diet overhaul and I look forward to feeling better and not worrying about passing out at work or turning my head to the side too much b/c I feel like throwing up from dizziness.

Sorry to hear that Rusty.

What BP med did the primary start you on?

Don't let them bully you into starting a cholesterol medication - lifestyle and dietary mods can fix it. Don't start a cholesterol med until 40 unless very concerning signs.

I am boarded in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of Nephrology and Critical Care, let me know if you have questions. Hate to see a fellow amigo be mistreated.
