Over 1400 margin. That's pretty much in the clear is it not?
considering there have been over 1000 votes deleted in a single audit, no
eh not really.
One of my family members has been investigating the lack of votes being removed from the xbox crew and the excessive amount of votes being tossed out by us.
Basically we had a bunch of people from outside the US sign up. they didn't want to go through the leg work of verifying this so just flagged the accounts and removed the votes. According the them the xbox crew hasn't had any issue with people providing false addresses, we had some issues with this early on since people want to cover up their identity on the internet as much as possible. Our voters know how the internet works theirs do not and freely gave away all information with out thinking about it.
As of yesterday the top 10 couples had been spot audited and the top few couples will be thoroughly audited after the contest ends and before the official announcement on the 8th.
1400 is not a very comfortable buffer really since we have had nearly that many removed from spot checking votes although most of them were internationals just getting tossed out.
if you are international put -INTERNATIONAL- COUNTRYNAME in the address line. Or so we have been told.
