uh, there are only 19 registrants so far.... of which most are mitsu's "staff" for the website, php writer, network admin, etc. so i'm going to guess only 5 people paid so far.tdp said:90 down, 4910 to go

Probably only to make a thread like Yoda once did.Drg0n+GoD+ said:i wonder if mitsu is ever gonna post again after this thing totaly fails ...
Sn0wm4n Have some faith said:How far up your ass is your head dooooooood? We already did that. Mitsu is a guy who has NO experience putting on a LAN and wanted to start off his illustrious career with a bang. I advised him to start small and even convinced him not to try to do a west coast lan the SAME weekend as Tribalwars (AKA TW:W). He took my advice but persists in his misconcieved notion that he can fill an arena with Tribes 1 players. I don't know of any other forums he frequents or where he might be attempting to draw 4900 players from.....and I wish I did know.....but his aspirations are just plain beyond reality to me.
The other thing that I worry about is that if he is actually serious and fails as badly as I suppose he will, potential sponsors will once again see that funding LAN Parties is a foolish business decision. Thus he puts those of us who have ventured into this activity in a very bad light. Having a history in LANning is the only saving grace.

thats not pessimism.jsut said:You're operating under the assumption that he actually received any sponsorship and didn't just put up the logo's of a number of prominant companies on the sponsorship page.
Maybe i'm a pessimist.
