Tbh I'd quit my job and just bartend for fun I like making cocktails

I hate talking to dumb people but if it was at a rich place it would be a laid-back job and deal with only wealthy clients

If I'm ever rich and bored I'll do something like that

i had a bro in college who used to show me the 200 bucks in tips he made each weekend night bar tending at a popular place near campus

i was like wtf u doing engineering for

i wouldn't be going anywhere either

of course the bar scene gets pretty old after you hit 30

by 40 would be miserable for me

it gets really bad after you see regulars on their 3rd marriage and 5th babies daddy hanging out in the place all night looking for their next mate

the appeal for me would be fading fast

but to each their own
