Whole thing sucks ass. I think everyone involved from Trump to owners to players are acting like douches. Trump saying people should be fired for exercising free speech is just as unamerican as kneeling imo, More so I'd even say. A government official using his official position to coerce companies to fire employees who speak out against the government should be removed from office for violating their oath to protect the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.

The NFL should also be ashamed of giving this freak show traction. It was entirely in their span of control to not give players kneeling so much attention. They control the converage, all they really needed to do is not give them the cameras attention. So what do they do? They now have turned this into 30 minutes of bull**** commentary of how "courageous" and "patriotic" these Players are. They are neither, they are just really wealthy young kids who think they know what they are talking about.

I just want to watch football, I don't give a **** what they stand for or against. And **** you you enemy of the constitution Trump

Hang on - didn't everyone here basically tell me I was wrong for saying a girl who facebooked her support for a no vote on gay marriage should not have been fired for it?

They were all for the consequences of freedom of speech, but now these sportmen should be protected from that?
If they are causing harm to the image or profitability of their sport, either real or imagined then they should be fired.

But yeah - that shouldn't be something the President of a country needs to point out.

For the most part I'm inclined to agree that a company should be able to fire you for how you carry yourself while representing the company. However, I think it is a pretty ****ing slippery slope when you decide to make how someone chooses to act during a national anthem.

Regardless, I'm absolutely sure a government official is way out of bounds using his influence to coerce a place of employment to fire employees protesting the government.

Honestly captain Tele, do you think what Trump said was unconstitutional when he said it as the president of the United States?

The President of the United States calling out overpaid athletes for disrespecting the flag that represents the people that have died so they can play ****ing football?

No, the question is which president wouldn't call them out?

You were military, could you say whatever you wanted when representing the Army? Sgt Lemon Had restrictions on what he could or could not say. Mr lemon had very few. Do you even grasp what I am trying to convey? Should I post slower?

Calling out is one thing, that the NFL should fire them is another thing altogether. Why do you hate the Constitution? I love the thing myself and I too took an oath to defend it.
