And you're supposed to just undo yourself from that and hockey stop within what, 2 seconds? good luck with that.

Ignore the replays, they're in slow-mo. First 10 seconds. The guy stumbles, somehow gets in this submissive position, and its not even a second or two before they hit. And you're telling me "oh dude, he should have just hockey stopped." **** you. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Are you really this dumb? 1) Boychuk was not trying to stop. Look at his feet. 2) His legs were wide apart and Raymond's stick was closer to this ice than Boychuk's skates and it wouldn't really have impeded his ability to stop. 3) You're ****ing dumb.

1) If his legs were closer he'd be tripped up by raymond's stick trying to stop. 2) he had just finished trying to play the puck and was off balance 3) its kind of hard to stop when a guy's helmet is between your legs 4) no you

1) No, he wouldn't, but that's a moot point. He didn't even try to stop. 2) Boychuk did not try to play the puck. He went to play the body. 3) Have you tried to stop with a helmet between your legs?
If you want a dirty hit, here's one:

um, did you see how the play even developed? The puck got shot into that corner and both players wouldn't even be in that position unless they were both trying to play it.

Apparently you didn't see it. The puck was dumped over there but quickly bounced back towards the net, Raymond was closer and Boychuk tried to tie up his stick and that caused Raymond to spin around when he was trying to regain his balance.

Do you see where Boychuk's stick is? That's not in a position to play the puck. That's in a position to play the player.

Do you see how far they are from the boards? 15 feet? That puck is already deflecting towards the slot area and heading away from the players.
Derp.

So in your 14 years of hockey you've never played a puck coming off the boards
how'd that go
I guess these nhl pros have no idea what they're doing

No, they know what they're doing. You obviously have no clue what's going on.

Let me spell it out for you exactly what I'm saying. The puck is coming off the boards toward the slot--which is moving away from the players as they are moving towards the boards. How is it legal to ride a player from where your picture is showing contact (about 15 feet) into the boards of which the puck is no where near and in fact heading even further away by the second?
