quake sounds + changes on dare's server

here's the changes made to joe daddy's international house of cg to the rating system and some other stuff. credit 2 juice

there are also quake sounds for things like monster kills, hitsounds, and other stuff. download them here and put them into your sounds folder: https://www.sendspace.com/file/y7j1dm

note: hitsound now uses hit.ogg and not teleport2.ogg

changes

added 1 rating per 1 second of flag time (hold flag for 5 minutes, get 300 rating)
added 10 rating per point of damage (deal 50 damage in a game, get 500 rating)
reduced the amount of rating per kill from 25 to 20
reduced rating per carrier kill from 45 to 35
removed standoff return (from 25 to 10)
laser targeter now costs 0 energy and the reload time is 0

hit sounds now menu-toggleable, admins can also globally toggle it
added a quake announcer (also menu-toggleable, download here and place in base/sound)
- on match countdown: prepare3
- on match start: - prepare4
- midair flag return: knife3
- midair pass: impressive
- midair carrier kill: headshot3
- first cap: firstlood
- first kill: firstblood2
- individual caps: 3 - dominating, 4 - unstoppable, 5+ - rampage
- team caps 3+ in a row: ownage
- cks: 15 - dominating, 20 - wickedsick, 25 - godlike, 30+ - holyshit
- multikill: 2 - doublekill, 3 - triple kill, 4 - ultrakill
- kill streak (no respawn): 4 - killing spree, 5 - megakill, 6 - monsterkill
- midair > 50 meters: headshot

i will not trust this till bugs_ has verified these changes are legitimate and if there are hacks/advantages put in place on the server such as reversepolate or secret happymod byass ability like has been done on the past

Gj on quakerizing/uting the game which should be all about teamplay, synergy and ctf metagame REGARDLESS of individual score. Instead of removing or stripping down scoring you did the opposite.

its on the pug server. ppl are going to do those things regardless. the rating system is more fair to cappers and lo now. this stuff just makes pugs more fun for those of us who play them.
 
Oh so you you were playing an even more stacked defence with stork playing chase on hb to ashers O ? I guess that's why your so proud of your score. Must have been so hard for stork to stop Asher and bizzy on the easy side of hb......... But keep thinking your the reason you won that game ....
 
O so you played stacked D on the easiest map that no one else knows routes for clearly chsased over the top of stork ... Not that it mattered cause Asher and bizzy would have enough trouble finding the position of the nme flag let alone running a route to grab it and take it home ... But its OK if you need this win take ... I no its hard to feel validation after youelr own father took your innocents ..
