the worst I saw the cops doing is hassling some folks who blatantly had open bottles of booze with them. They all acted like they were sorry they had to do it but considering 90% of the crowd is obviously wasted, the odds were so low that you'd be bothered as long as you at least used a bag or a gatorade bottle or something
I started bugging people and freaked a bunch of them out as I looked like a real cop at first glance I guess. We mad impromptu checkpoints with caution tape at various places and made people limbo under it
the whole thing was more subdued than the previous several years with no floats (at least none that I saw) but the whole pan handle was still a giant party once the weather cleared up
