[T1] script request - quick weapon change

how do I change the elapsed time between weapon change? sometimes it seems to take close to 1 second to have a different weapon swtiched over after hitting a key; especially right after firing motor and swtiching to blaster or whatever.

You have to wait until the firing sequence is done, otherwise you could bypass the fire delay by quickly switching weapons.

Press next weapon in the middle of the gun's fire sequence. For some reason, tribes skips the delay. We used to do it on nappy when the repair gun would be delayed. They made it have a 3 second delay between the repairing state and when you could switch to the next weapon. However, if (while repairing) you pressed next/prev, when you finished, there was no pause.
