Verizon phones work on the CDMA or whatever the hell its called network. The rest work on a GSM network. So, typically, you cannot unlock the phone and use it on another carrier.

VZW runs on CDMA, most other carriers are GSM. So no.

I ordered this phone thursday and shoul have it Monday... I'll post some quick thoughts on it then.

There are several decent youtube reviews out there already though.
