TribesRolePlayers has finished up Chapter 3 of the Prophecy of Tears saga.

Chapter 3 of the Prophecy of Tears saga is now available once more in our Official Fiction repository. This is the longest chapter of the three which were completed (the Fourth chapter was begun, but remains unfinished) and can also be the most confusing to work through. There are twelve vignettes in all, be sure not to miss any of them. In this segment of the serial we see the deterioration of the Phoenix Prime, the adept political scheming of the Triad and the continued build up towards the inevitable arrival of the Hordes. We are also treated to a pair of surprising plot twists that can only lead to further intrigue as the story progresses. So if you’ve been jonesin’ for your Tribal fiction fix, load up the third Chapter of Blake Hutchins’ Wilderzone saga and get your hit.

You can read all about it at TribesRolePlayers.org.

Yes it is official. It was released quite some time ago, and is in fact still available on the Sierra site, but who goes there right? We hosted this previously, but it came down when we did our redesign and we've been working the vignettes back in to the new database a piece at a time. The Prophecy of Tears storyline was unfortunately never finished. Dynamix' abrupt dissolution halted the tale in the opening segment of it's fourth chapter (which will be posted next week.)

It is worth noting that there are a lot of fans that would like to see the story completed (and some that would like to see the Starsiege story, Jaguar's Hunt finished as well) but that seems problematic at best. In the meantime we get to dine on ashes, and enjoy what was one of the highlites of Tribes Universe backstory development.
