[DL] T1+T2 Soundtrack

Mavi

Ok, so I've compiled all the T1 and T2 soundtracks including a T2 bonus soundtrack I got from Heat (thank you).

The way they are arranged is T2 soundtracks are mainly the first ones to play (because they are better), and some T1 soundtracks in between T2s in the middle and end. You can rearrange according to your pref, just rename the order.

Make sure you download Grooves soundtrack dll and place soundtrack into Tribes folder. Then go into options/sound and tick CD Music.

Soundtrack DLL:

Soundtrack HUD:

Enjoy.

Cool. 12 years ago I've asked for this.

Good to know someone could finally do it! Even if the game is totally ded lel

But honestly, nice work Mavi. Thx :) Isnt the groovs .dll in? If not, can you post the down link?

edit: Google Chrome accuses virus on that package and it gets blocked and auto-deleted. gg

I updated to include the soundtrack dll. Also I would recommend getting grooves soundtrack HUD as sometimes the the music stops abruptly.

I don't know why it won't let you DL it.... NOD32 says nothing detected soo

When maps change the track also changes. But sometimes after a certain track the new one won't play. I haven't deduced the problem yet.

u can disable the map songs by uncommenting the $mp3::ignoremapsongs = 1; variable at the top of the soundtrack.acs.cs script

u can also do the same to enable mp3::verbose and it'll spam the console with feedback to see if it throws an error or does something unexpected when it stops

i never really finished this plugin (as usual) - i meant to have it trigger a 'playnext' kinda function automatically after a song finishes, but instead it has a 'status' function that i check every 3 seconds to see if it reports 'finished' and then call the next song function

its not really elegant but at that point i'd realized that

A) it'll never work on XP and
B) it'll never report the length of VBR songs correctly

so i was gonna re-do it with a whole other player .dll from scratch

and then it seemed like too much work so i abandoned it
