getting back into Tribes 2

ok i just reinstalled about a week ago...i have a question.
why are so many of the classic servers password locked? where might one get these passwords? scrimmages arent taking place alot of the time-

Quite a lot of classic servers have admin mods in such as pizza mod, which when the server gets full passwords and opens up one or more admin spot. This is so admins can still get on the server if its full. Just refresh until you see a spot open up.

Most classic servers lock at 28 (with a max of 32). The other 4 spots are for admins or other special people I suppose. Rapture's server locks at 20 or 24 or so. They distribute that password out to community. I suppose its so the quality of the game is better.
