i don't know if i will play, but if i can make a few suggestions:
- try out "balanced" mode for matches. almost no maps in t1 lt are close to balanced, and some are awful.
- require 1.41 client for people to participate
- don't spread the teams too thin. games aren't as fun when they're very top heavy. rather, maybe make a rule like each player can only play 2 of the 3 maps, and have 3 teams instead of 4. then teams have to discuss how to shuffle their players around to make cohesive teams based on what they have available.


It'd be nice to get enough for 4 teams so we can have a decent bracket at least. It'd get old playing same 2 teams. I really do think we have enough quality, active people to make 4 teams work. Just need nearly full participation from the regulars, and some of the old elites to come back for some scheduled games.

side note - hillking crashes tribes for me. using storks config. halp.

lower your fov down to 110. i think 120 crashes hillking on stork's build. also stork's build crashes argh's, hop on the tribes talk discord and i'll tell you how to fix it (ty groovmaster).

ya any non-standard resolution terrains do that

u can also decrease visible distance to alleviate it if ur really dead set on 120 fov instead of 117 or whatever

and i think terrainlodamt works to get rid of those crashes too but it makes terrain warpy

at some point i think someone set the 'default' vis distance to like 1500 even tho most maps have fog at below 400 and no one ever bothers to decrease it cuz 'visible distance good'

heck i just checked a few configs of mine and for some reason its set to 10,000 lol
