He said you can keep it, as long as it meets a baseline of standards. The letter from KP, the part with the BIG RED ****ING ARROW next to it, says it doesn't meet those standards.
His rates aren't going up, he's being transitioned to a new, and different, plan that meets the standards because thats what the law requires now. There is a difference there.

No, not all providers are. My work gives insurance for ~$200/month, they cover 60% of that. Their plan is 83% (that is 23% above the 60% value required by ACA) before you factor in the 60% that is paid for by the company.
So no, not every provider ever is struggling to meet these standards. Those are dumb talking points put out there by people dedicated to confusing the issue due to their political affiliations. It should come as no surprised that it's recited by their minions as some sort of proof that we're all doomed.

i'd like to know the backstory on that, maybe he had some fancy plan subsidized by his company that his company was no longer going to support.

Yeah, the baseline and the bottom level of bronze coverage isn't exactly great healthcare.
There's information missing from it. I can't imagine why...

hostage......

fact: Obamacare will increase premiums 2-4% due to the 3 new taxes on insurance carriers. anything more than that is insurance carriers trying to use the ACA to sneak a higher rate increase.

thats from 2010, but i am curious about the big change in costs for those Kaiser plans. Doesn't seem like the 30/1500 is any different from that bronze one. Although the 30/1500 was rated as "Not Formally Allowed" in 2010 haha
and by the way, complaints about health insurance prices are irrelevant to what this thread is about.
My Boeing health insurance plan isnt changing but Boeing has really good benefits :x

The debt ceiling should always be raised when it needs to be, **** it shouldn't even exist in the first place.
Everything else is a problem, just stop including the debt ceiling though. Seriously fix the other systemic issues in what and how our government is spending money and the necessity of the debt ceiling or the reason to debate raising it goes away.

the story isnt all there. theyre blaming the ACA for having to change his plan, but there's probably a backstory behind it that has little to do with the ACA and more to do with their plan not being sustainable fiscally. it was rated as 'not formally allowed' back in 2010 whatever that means.

And more doctor appointments, from far more people, with far fewer doctors, will miraculously reduce wait times. Millions of new people paying next to nothing to be insured will lower prices for others who already have insurancance and must somehow pay for theirs too. And it will create competition by eliminating the majority of health insurance providers in a dozen plus states. ahahahhahahaha

We gots to try something and obviously forcing people to buy an overpriced, monopolized, privatized insurance plan is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Not going another two trillion dollars further into new debt each year might help too, but learning to live within our means and not externalize our desires and responsibilities to others, and future generations, is pretty un-american these days.
