i was able to get a halftone from just a single color, white. would look good on a dark shirt, maybe.

if you show larger image, you'll see that it is a single color, round halftone, with transparency.

The white shirt looked better overflowing, I thought it gave it a "modern graphic tee vibe"

On the grey one (since I never wear white shirts), I decided to make it fit a bit more smartly, so it would be a more likely candidate in the T-Shirt rally.

edit: ok broadside one gets some minor ups that was cool idea but DS one looks so subtle i could wear it around and people would actually like it

DS looks nothing like the DS. It's a diamond with 2 swords under it. It works though. BE looks like something from a South American soccer league. Doesn't matter, they both kick ass.

You guys wanted subtle. There it is.
