wow.... that's absolutely incredible

quite a tribute to those who served and lost their lives, and a historical treasure trove of film that was rotting away

he really deserves multiple awards for this
 
As a big history buff that's pretty dope he did this. I did sort of enjoy the aesthetic of the previous generation of colorization with respect to WW1 footage so seeing it look akin to a high end consumer 80s video quality is shocking is shocking. Have zero experience in the high end video editing realm this kind of stuff bottles the mind in how one goes about it.
 
Its funny watching the way those guys act around each other and its pretty much like soldiers act around each other today. I guess some things never really change
