the idea of tribes with better graphics is great. but replacing each texture with a high-res version doesn't exactly make it 100% possible.

A couple of problems arise. Even tho the current way this script works is better than hudbot, it still doesn't fix the problem of textures being used on multiple maps.

The DX wall texture is also used as the SH texture.

So you can make one map look awesome, but other maps will look terrible @ the same time. basically the best way to approach this problem is by making the main textures are look v similar.

aka the usual bullcrap I've been releasing time after time.

Also, there is no getting around the DX emblem issue.
 
i was just saying the same thing in another thread (and earlier in this thread)

looks great tho

personally i went a bit brighter on that floor texture, i find flags easier to see when it's not on such a dark backdrop

but i like the old dirty style of yours a lot
