They don't usually cause constant pain. I'm hoping it's just IBS inflammation due to bile dumps by my gallbladder. But I worry it's something like Diverticuli or Crohn's and I'll need a colostomy or something.

why will the surgeon be anywhere near your lower colon? Are they not doing the surgery with laparoscopy?
