the lawsuit is coming soon project z fags

ppl r pretty dumb in not interpreting that screenshot as a confirmation by todd harris that there is a legal issue being discussed by hirez against project z

they should hire mun as legal counsel

"u fuqin new dynamixes make ski yes? fuq u think stealin dat chit out fromunda dey knose? liek dey not gon kno? fuq u no bout my legal ceiling?"

then he leave courtroom when judge shows his rating under 1k

hirez getting jealous cause some punk ass kids gonna one up them

i hope they do sue project z and waste their resources on paying highfalutin lawyers

then maybe they'll sell off the tribes ip to someone that will do it justice

You guys remind me of the people that all told me with certainty that every computer operated system was going to malfunction when the year switched from 1999 to 2000 and the whole world was going to enter a realm of chaos.

The fact that HiReZ is holding onto the IP means nothing, because nothing has changed.

The fact that HiReZ has said "no comment" also means "nothing." It wouldn't be wise for them from a business standpoint to reveal that information either way.

HiReZ also needs to consider that taking Archetype to court would heavily tarnish their reputation and basically label HiReZ as "evil people" in the eyes of many, akin to the likes of EA. They would be risking losing lots of fanbase on their currently successful game "Smite," as well as a great deal of future success if people would be intelligent enough to catch on.

Personally, I don't think HiReZ would be so evil, but I'm not at all certain.

Let's be cereal though, if this does actually go down, it's going to be so much drama, fun, and excitement for everyone to talk about. We win either way.

in the end seeing the lawsuit is all i care about ive said this so many times if the project dragon ball z thing makes a good game ill play it if not idc but this lawsuit thing is probably going to be more entertaining anyways and my gut feeling is it will happen

no not at all they are most definitely making another game

the only thing i'd infer is that them not being able to confirm or deny a legal claim on a legal matter points to hirez recognizing the situation with project z is a legal matter and that they are definitely discussing a lawsuit on some level or maybe even trying to push through certain last minute copyright amendments ie a law suit is at least on the table if not being planned

otherwise theyd honestly have just said no

so now im looking forward to seeing how it develops

oh i missed the 2nd pic due to work safe mode, didn't see the lawsuit question.

i'm surprised todd replies to emails.

i don't think they could sue for skiing, as skiing has been in other games such as Enemy Territory Quake Wars, Legions, Titanfall
