Just be glad you're not in Canada, where even pepper spray is considered highly illegal.

I've lived in shitty areas of town and regardless of whatever law, always carried it (smuggled from the US) either in my car or on me when I was out at night. I'd rather face and deal with a bullshit criminal charge than get stabbed by some cracked out methhead (which very nearly happened once or twice)

And I mean, I'm a 6 foot tall broad shouldered fair sized male. I probably don't stand to get murdered or raped.. but the fact it's even prohibited to carry pepper spray in Canada is fucked. What's a 70 year old woman supposed to do? Or a 19 year old 5'1 girl who weighs all of 100lbs? Our government has their head so far up their ass, they won't even let them carry a fuckin canister of pepper spray.

Realizing that made me realize how absurd socialism and the left has become.. when a 5'1 100lb 19 year old girl can't carry pepper spray to defend herself against a cracked out 200lb methhead, for fear of being tossed in jail by the hyper liberal Canadian government.. shit's well and truly fucked.
 
yes i'm not liking AW bans or semi auto bans you shold see threads i start about this on progressive forms some of them are a little crazy i think it's cuz they're black and sick of seeing gang activity. i tell them it's the losing side of a wedge issue and I hope that when it gets down to nut cutting they will relax a little. the US second amendment makes a complete ban not worth the effort or political capital IMO, and splitting hairs between ranch rifles and ARs is a order of wedge voting issue supreme with extra topping.

I can't go past the idea that long objects that shoot water, or other projectiles out of them, are kind of like penises. A guy I know bought a huge car. I call it the "compensator".

"Are you picking me up in the compensator?"

I don't know many people with firearms but if I did I'd probably ask:

"Hey, how is that new scope you got for your compensator going?"

"Does it make a bump under the pillow?"
