Telnet class for admin options ???

Just wondered if any of you scripters out there have thought about writing a telnet class for T:V so a php portal or other type of program can connect to T:V easier for admin options.

I know for being able to code a php/sql portal for admining servers would on an external webserver, it would be a real treat.

Anyways, just a question...

I recall a similar thread, I think maybe on Tribes Talk, and I believe the solution was to port ungateway.
