Let me explain real quick how this whole "fake news" thing got started - it got started about 7-8 months ago when a 4chan troll, yes a single fucking 4chan troll, wrote up a fake document implying that not only was Trump hanging out in Russian brothels, but that he liked golden showers, but also called his shits "Obama's", and the media ran it like it was the most groundbreaking thing ever.
Despite how hilariously poorly the document was written, the media thought it was just too damned juicy to ignore. And without actually reading the damned thing, without addressing it's source, without fact checking ANYTHING, they ran with it. They thought they'd struck gold.
The media has done nothing in the wake of this to put even so much as a single drop of faith back into their news organizations. They got caught lying in the worst way possible, and rather than own up to that, or even considering changing their ways, they continue to do the very same.
Because it really bothers the news agencies when people like Pewdiepie make more money than them. It scares them a lot that people get more of their news from YouTubers than they do from the news outlets. And rather than doing the right thing, they resort to name calling, and stooping even fucking lower to try and discredit everyone else by calling them liars or dishonest.
