SO my ****ty free serius xm trial ran out. I am making a playlist to copy to my jeep hard drive.
all my mp3's are very low in volume.
all my flac are OK
not a replaygain or any issue like that. I can use foobar to remove or like winamp, turn replaygain off. nothing i do makes a difference. 20,000+ mp3s ****ed.
so i check my backups... i have multiple drives and they are all good and sound good ...
wtf. delete and copy back to main drive but ****, wtf happened? I havent listened to them in a year or two prob as everything i have since then is flac and on my foobar server machine.
oh and i checked my torrent and grabit folders and they are the same quiet **** even if the album is 2017 blah... must be a virus.
i did most of them myself. think i found it. there's a few types of replaygain and another called mp3gain. i removed the replaygain with foobar but media info still showed replaygain in a different area. i used foobar to fix header and also fix vbr header stream. that got rid of all the replaygain info. now i need to find something to scan and remove mp3gain information even though I dont know if the files are affected by this shrug
