we made a bit of progress with the main menu for all resolutions but i wanted to shrink the buttons down a bit and move them so that they fit in Windowed mode

but then we'd have to shrink all the buttons and ... meh

this is about as far i got - windowed/1920 settings that seem to work OK https://imgur.com/a/D7X84

still need to fix the player setup stuff that gets pushed off in windowed

then we started to debate whether anyone cares about windowed mode other than me

haven't done much since, dunno if spy has
 
I got no time at all this whole week now. I was just waiting on Groove to fix up each GUI alignment with his method and call it a day. I don't think anyone will play in windowed mode so shrinking buttons is unnecessary. At least for v1.1 that's ready otherwise.

Groove if you can fix up all the pages (options, etc) with your method I think it's a done deal for release. :heart:

ok so this may be the most annoying thing i've tried to do with tribes (ok not even close to the base textures but still)

i did the mainmenu (which is really playersetup or whatever) and options which were both annoying

but joingamegui drove me so nuts i actually smashed my keyboard so yeah

tribes is literally retarded with the resizing stuff - left is sometimes right, co-ordinates are reversed sometimes, shit is fucking crazy and i dont get it and it doesn't help that the gui editor crashes all the time and the toolbar buttons are missing in 1.40 which i'm sure i could fix too but goddamn why is there so much to fix

Yes, but we have goddamn floating 3rd person cam instead of 1.11 style. That worth aggravation, right buddy?

if i were to go back in time to change the future, one of the things i'd do was make sure 1.40 actually got finished

that's after i bought apple and google stock and bitcoin in feb 2010 and fucked a bunch of supermodels before they became famous and killed hitler & stephen harper
 
Why does it matter? why do you have it on your site then, passworded? Its a fuken hud 1 in dozens i dont see the point of collecting tribe stuff and keeping them within circle-jerk (like other stuff). And caring about something some1 made 5 years ago which he most likely forgot about and doesnt care is absurd. Its a fuken hud. It was created 2 b used.
