[Blog][Pics]Your cars, show them to me

Ugh, my buddy has one of those cars. It's quick but goddamn worst fucking engineering I have ever seen in my life for maintenance and the price you guys will pay for parts is insane.

that's funny: The Vgdett engine -300zx TT was just reviewed 20 years after development and considered eons ahead of its time, and a work of craftsmanship not seen by many.
parts can be expensive, but you know, a 20 year old car that can still put out 400hp and do 165 on the freeway will cost you to keep up. Ive had mine for 9 years now.

I didn't mean to imply it was a bad/slow car, my buddies is great. But that thing is TERRIBLE to work on. Maybe I'm just used to muscle car engine bays, but it seems like you have to pull the engine to do anything. I think we've had his out 4-5 times now.

I can't talk too much crap about them, his still gets 20+mpg while mine gets ~10mpg. They are fun cars to drive

No prob man, they are absolutley a bitch to work on because the engine bay is nothing but freaking engine. I get people asking me all the time if it's the new 350 z, wtc.. lol 20 years old and I still get notcied at car shows, or flagged down in a parking lot, etc. Ive been doing a comlete remodel of my car for the last 3 months getting it ready for the big Z car shows in September, but I should have it rdy for pictures soon, and I'll upload some of the work ive done to vamp it up to a more modern era.

right now i drive a black '98 grand cherokee P.O.S. with 160,000 miles on it and the check engine light just came on this morning.

i'm tired of paying 3 bucks a gallon to fill up its 20 gallon tank only to go like 250 miles (its getting like 13mpg)

so. i've been mulling over the idea of getting a new car. And the one on the top of my list at the moment is a mazda3 hatchback (hatchback because the one thing i do love about my jeep is the storage capacity - so if im gonna get a small gas efficient car, i want one that still has a little bit of storage capabilities.)

look how happy it is

I like the new Mazda 3s but that big stupid grin is just awful.

also: I submit my Passat W8 for worst car to work on. The engine compartment is absolutely stuffed. Replacing virtually anything requires the entire front of the car to be taken off. replacing O2 sensors means removing the engine completely.

I hate maintaining this bitch :(
