before my sister stopped talking to me because i liked "joker", i did rewatch friends on netlfix and when i mentioned that, she had to scold me for watching such a homo/trans phobic show and its not funny anymore.

It was rated PG.

Would be rated R today if they even allowed it to be made.

Its pretty much that way with all old school comedies.
