y nofog? it doesn't make it more enjoyable to watch, it just makes me think about all the times ppl cheat and pretend that they don't.

but i'm sure cheat config just for montage purposes :eyerolletc:

none of the cheats worked with the anticheat they made anyways, i guess i just like to make my vids look shiny

i still think this logic of "i have cheat config just for montage or demo" is a funny thing

bothering to acquire and implement cheat configs but not use them in game, that's almost more psychotic tbh


it is like saying, "yes i have a credit card skimmer, yes i have tested it, yes it works; but, i only use it for my own personal hobby, and no i am not in law enforcement so yes i understand there's no real reason for an innocent party to have said illegal cc skimmer, but trust me when i say i would never use this tech for wrong-doing" idk this is a weird and hard sell

ultimately none of it matters as it's a very hacked exe from 1998 that 20 ppl play. no one really cares about cheaters, just the fuzzy logic is funny innit mate

you say it makes config shiny, i say it takes away from the perceived skill to see cheat config in montage even if shots were made clean

you're probably the best after effects editor in tribes series in total right now though <3

It was nearly 2 years ago when Fire approached me about his idea of doing a big montage featuring lots of plays from many different players. I pretended it was my project because people know me a lot more than they know Fire. We got a buttload of demos that Fire still has I believe. I think Fire just got too busy with school and work to finish the deal.

fwiw I think the vid looks really cool without fog.

haha true, tbh i havnt played any games for over 8 months so the motivation to make this was almost 0, plus the democam tool is a joke how bad it is :D

haha tbh those are just excuses for losing motivation but I srsly dont blame him, ive done the same tons of times

thats just how it works, its all good fun coming up with idea when u are a bit bored etc, but when it then comes to the actual work its no fun nomore :(

no matter how much school or job u got u can always squeeze in 15-30 mins of editing per day which is more than enough, imagine 15 mins editing a day for 2 years, u get alot done

and tbh, the guy plays midair and that overwatch game like 4h+ a day so nah, hes not that heavy and busy ;)

that play was pretty funny, hard to tell in this montage what the context was without having seen the original though
