If I have something to say, I'll say it.

For the time being, I will say this: Do not start new threads on the patch being delayed. They will be flagged. Anyone continuing to post threads on the topic will get one warning to stop, then a ban.

The moderators have been asking regularly for updates. We *will* post news as soon as we have something concrete (or someone from VUG may beat us to it, since they will obviously have the news first). As of tonight, there is nothing new to report. I am expecting (after requesting) an update before the end of the week. It may be good news, it may be bad news. I really can't say.

Don't know if this means anything but at least it's something.

i dont like the bad news part. Why would he post it if he thinks that its gonna be all good...

something bad is going on.

You call that news?
Ned doesn't work for VUG... he's just gonna ask for info like he always does.
He's just getting some order into hit foums.

I have no idea why they cant release a proper announcement about a delay. Its already delayed we know that so at least officially announce it instead of all this secrecy.

If this doesnt tell you what to expect in terms of support or growth in anything TV I dont know what does. Hopefully Im wrong ,but VU's apparent hesitancy is becoming more apparent.

If this is an issue with the cost of licensing PB, then screw it. Get the bug patch out deal with the PB thing later. If its an issue with delaying the patch again. Hey I have no problem with that either. I'd rather it be done right than rushed out. But this total silence is not making me very confident in VU. God how hard is it to release a one paragraph press release that the TV patch will be delayed. Geez.

It really sucks having a franchise and community like Tribes, and no Dynamix, No Valve, No Blizzard, No Id to foster and support it. We're like orphans looking for a home.

I say start posting to admins at sites like Bluesnews, Toms Hardware, slashdot etc. If they start posting a comment or two about whats going on in the world of Tribes then it will get some attention.

I guess we will have wait a little longer then. It's nice to know they can tell the community is ticked off, anxious, etc.

I must say though, the outstanding 3rd party debate almost seems like a chicken - egg issue. They just keep going in circles.

T:V is a sinking ship and they have decided their new forum policy is to shoot anyone who says the ship is sinking or trying to get into the life boats. :D

No, they're shooting the guys who continue to punch holes in the ship.
