i disagree with your last sentence

i believe you need just the right amount of intelligence to be swayed by doublespeak. some will never be and they are either highly intelligent or highly retarded. our university system in general no longer promotes free thinking but group consensus, particularly from what I've saw and seen. I'm thankful for my military experience where a leader will tell 5 people 'your shit is dumb/needs to be refined, this other guy has it right we are going with him' rather than 'well we'll take a little of a, a touch of b, and a whole scoop c and everyone wins yay!' forgetting that actual results is the most important thing to any mission. probably easier to maintain focus on that when you are more likely to die by not maintaining that mentality, as opposed to nothing of substance changing you still make the same hourly/salary.
