I'd like to point out for people like Yankee and AmRam just something that I feel needs to be restated.

This is not an attempt to brag. My attempt to brag was in the Cleveland thread on Sept 16. This is my "look what bragging got me" thread. This is myself being scared, being anxious, and unfathomably confused.

Where else can I turn to get anonymous advice from people? Where else can I go to get something like this off my shoulders and get some support?

No, this isn't a "reprehensible" thread. Reprehensible implies guilt. A better word would be "tasteless" but like I said before, where else can I mostly anonymously vent about the single largest life-changing event thus far to get this off my shoulders and get advice from people who might have gone through the same thing?

I really respect all the people providing sound advice, especially people I don't even have a history of speaking to. That speaks volumes about some of the class of character TW can have when someone is being deathly serious. But I'm also incredibly dismayed at the fact that some people I'd consider my "friends" in real life can't be a little more respectful.

With that off my chest, I am going to pick her up, we are going to the doctor now. Wish me luck and hopefully when I get back I'll have some good news or the same news.

This is the most unrealistic thing I've ever heard, especially given the way relationships work in this century. Love ya Gale, but I think maybe having a child has skewed your perspective in the same way that our perspective may be skewed by not having a child.
